i moved to houston recently and miss good authentic mom & pop shop typa pizza like at v&s. i grew up eating this pizza and i've been set up to be disappointed in any of the pizza places out here in houston.
Best pizza! Been eating it since place opened when I was a young kid. Now it's a must do when end I am back in Bucks County. Friendly and clean, too!
too greasy but good service food did come quickly and the items we not over price. good place to go with friends for a quick meal.
New owners and much better menu. The fries were fantastic and looked hand cut. Had a grilled chicken sandwich which was very good quality. Looking forward to their other specialties.
Visit from Long Island and wanted a simple meal. Party of 6 adults and 4 kids. Everything we ordered was on point. Pizza and the new grandmas as well as the Caesar salads with grill chicken were all delicious and made to order. Friendly and patient staff as well as clean. Will definitely come back when we visit. Google said they were closed but we called and they were open.
Stopped in with some hungry kids after practice and ordered a couple of pizzas. The service at the front counter was friendly and prompt. A lady who I'm assuming is the manager was filling the cooler and tidying up a bit. She was nice to us. The inside was clean and simple with a dozen or so tables. I noticed on my visit they had counter service - you walk up and order, then wait to grab your food from the counter when your order is called up. If you want seasonings for your pizza you have to get up and grab it yourself. Not complaining, just an observation. The pizza itself is above average, but not as good as I remember it. The cheese used to be sweeter in my humble opinion. Everything else was just fine, I would have preferred more sauce and quite a bit of cheese slid off the front of the slices. Crust was crispy and fresh, but needed more char on the undercarriage to firm up the slice. These guys have a big following.... for me I've had better from them in the past. Would I return, yes. It's still good solid pizza and I've never had a problem with the service here. Price for two pizzas, mozzarella sticks and 6 drinks was under $50.
Extremely impressed with this establishment as a local business owner. The professionalism and the cleanliness and the prompt service. Every time I go in this place is refreshing. Definitely recommended quality and service.
